Selimpaşa is a region of Silivri district, located on the European side of Istanbul, which is located in the Marmara Region of our country. The region, which was named Bigados in 1990, became a settlement of Greeks in the early 20th century. There are many important historical buildings and natural beauty areas that you can visit in Selimpaşa. Visitors planning a trip to this region can use city transportation if they are coming from Istanbul. Those coming from outside the city can choose intercity bus lines by purchasing a bus ticket. From more distant provinces, plane tickets can be purchased and air travel can be made. Selimpaşa is a frequently preferred place, especially for day trips. If you come here in the summer, you also have the opportunity to swim in the sea. Selimpaşa is also a rich region in terms of places to visit. City transportation vehicles are used very frequently to reach Selimpaşa, which is located in the European part of Istanbul. You can easily go to this region by choosing among means of transportation such as metro, metrobus, bus or ferry. If you are coming from out of town, you have two different options. The first of these is to come by intercity buses if you do not have a private vehicle. If you have a private vehicle, you can complete your journey using the navigation system. However, if visitors who do not have a personal vehicle want to use the bus option, they can consider the bus terminal serving in Silivri's Alibey District. For this, you can buy a bus ticket from your location and reach the bus station. The average distance between the bus terminal and Selimpaşa is 13 kilometers. After arriving at the bus terminal, you can choose transfer vehicles or take city buses to go to Selimpaşa. Another transportation alternative is by air.
